Hi, and congratulations on the opening of your gallery!
From visual arts you can detect the mind-set and the area atmosphere, if any, of objective consciousness and for want of searching for a better term, Good Will, towards all.
Often what one can see, is the limitations artists impose upon themselves and make a gallery into a court of judgement as an extension of inflexible thinking.
Then of course there are the true and innocent renditions which although naive, relinquish a feeling of sweetness, also an extension of the painter.
I guess I am a bit of both, yet try to encourage the innocence.
Universal feeling is freely available and the shade tree does not choose on whom to cast its shadow. Sometimes we succeed and sometimes we failin our quests, but one thing is certain the view point that we are all the same is a truly enlightened perspective.
I try not to highlight the mistakes we make or the world will be one ongoing movie house.
However some images, although well executed and displayed accurately, belie our involvement in a major mind game which it seems by our subscription thereto is ever ongoing, and so it was since the befinish of time and the wrestling for control of one specie over another. It is important to remember as far as memory serves, that our cells are changing every nano-second, and we are not the same person or entity, from moment to mile.
All the cells in our brains have changed many times within a day.
So to capture something we think we see, saw or think of, we are still living in the past, and our hangup remains that: Our hangup.
So therefore I have coaxed myself, to looking within at the fast moving changes and adjustments that take place in every new realisation which can be fast and furious and or slow, depending what we feed ourselves.
I can, figuratively speaking, eat breakfast or lunch in a gallery and not miss the garlic.
Sometimes I get cheesed off when things don't go my way, but I try not to put this over onto those innocent of the game I play. Which of course, is sticking to my guns.
Besides doing the dirty work for so many, one does tend to bear the tarnish brush, but not being written in stone, these debts 'become ended' too, in this temporary world of opinion and ego.
There are so many beautiful efforts out there, that one can only
herald the true artist within all of us!
Regards,
Patti.
