Straight Painte

The world may not end, and worse, a painting may be fairly permanent and outlive the artist. Efforts as well as results are important. Rather than being a medium of influence or opinion, weaponry or prejudice, art, although skilfully executed, needs to be valued.

The uncompromising values of lasting beauty,  elevating and gracious aspects compassion and sensitivity remain a challenge. The final work carries the attributes of original motivation. Intention cannot be hidden to a discerning viewer.

One's own selection of thoughts  surfaces through the representation, in spite of a painter purporting to pose as infallible, knowledgeable. 

On the other hand, being weighted down through the observation by the complexity of an observer's thought system is likewise limiting.

To endeavour to think well and by so doing embed affirmations into a painting is automatically contributing to better art. 

With choice of so much subject matter surrounding us, it is a pleasure to see the work of an vigilent artist that can accomplish a painting which is a treasure by its own strength.

It was once said that when painting, one should lift one's mood to one of joyousness, so that a happy painting is the end result. this is not always possible as we are tossed on the tide of emotions all through our lives, yet work must go  on.

Abstracts or interior decorating, can become a welcome change, when art goes through  rebellious stages.

Within the abstract, if  there is a human quest of arriving at a goal, hidden somewhere subtly, that is a rewarding surprise that cause it to be looked at often.

An ability to convey an element of surprise, enhanced with poise and accuracy is to touch the subconsious emotion that lightens a heavy heart.

The one that gladdens a heart is fortunate

Although stained and mishandled by time and hand, the beauty of construction will be a pleasure as long as the piece exists.

The beauty of art always will be sacred as an extension of heart.  No matter the circumstances, one can create one's own atmosphere for painting.

An artists representation will be scrutinised perhaps for generations as a capability of the artist. More so, it retains  resonance of the particular feeling the painter accessed at the time of painting, no matter the subject.
